EXCLUSIVE: Production has wrapped on supernatural thriller You Can’t Leave, starring Spencer Boldman (Welcome to Chippendales) and Paola Andino (Lisa Frankenstein), with Boldman also serving as an executive producer.
Scott Windhauser directs from his own script. The project recently completed filming in Dallas, Texas, and is produced by Robert Paschall Jr. (The Old Way) and Austin Taylor.
The film will be released domestically in October 2026 under Paschall and Taylor’s newly formed banner, Guilder Cinema Group. An international digital release is being lined up from November 2026. Gopal Bala also produces, while executive producers include Antonia DeNardo, Gunnar Thelander, Thomas Bauer, Northrup Loyd, Vincent Monsaint, and Joe Roach.
Pic follows James (Boldman), “a young man searching for answers behind his sister’s mysterious disappearance. His journey leads him and a group of friends, including Olivia (Andino), deep into a remote forest where they become trapped in a supernatural prison. Hunted by shadowy entities, the group is forced to confront both physical and psychological terror as they struggle to escape.”
Windhauser most recently directed Mafia Wars, starring Tom Welling and Cam Gigandet. His upcoming slate includes The Florist, starring Dennis Quaid and Jean Reno, and The Walk-In, starring Aaron Eckhart.
Cruise and Lab Rats actor Boldman is next set to star in and produce the previously announced Ronnie Milsap biopic, portraying the country music icon. Every Witch Way actress Andino was most recently seen in Dexter: Original Sin.
Windhauser said: “This film is going to really surprise people. It’s an action-horror with deep psychological and visual suspense that will have you holding your breath the entire time. Having Spencer lead the cast gives the film an emotional anchor. Paola brings a grounded emotional core that elevates the story.”
Boldman and Andino are represented by Millennium Artists, Coast to Coast Talent Group and Myman Greenspan.
