See Trailer for New Episodes of ‘Pop Culture Jeopardy!’ on Netflix: EXCLUSIVE

“Pop Culture Jeopardy!” is gearing up for another season of fun facts in the entertainment universe.

The trailer for the new batch of episodes dropped April 27, and TODAY has an exclusive early look.

The show will once again be hosted by “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost, although viewers will find it in a new home.

“Our first season was on Amazon. Our second is on Netflix. And, if this doesn’t work, I’ll be doing a third season on OnlyFans,” Jost joked in the trailer.

TODAY will be represented this season, too, by contestants Matthew and Bonnie.

In the trailer, Matthew, a TODAY staffer, tells Jost, “I’m a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ person.”

“Get the hell out of here!” the host fires back in jest.

The TODAY co-hosts were thrilled by the news.

“We know them!” Carson Daly said.

“They are the perfect people to be on it because they’re pop culture aficionados,” Savannah Guthrie added.

With the pop culture theme, contestants in this version of “Jeopardy!” hope “their debilitating addiction to screen time will finally pay off,” Jost says in the trailer.

“The series puts a twist on the classic ‘Jeopardy!’ format — with only very important questions about very important people (literally the VIPs of Hollywood and beyond),” Netflix’s Tudum states. “Contestants test their pop culture knowledge in various categories — from ‘Horror Made Wholesome’ to ‘Bummer Movie Endings’ — covering TV, movies, and music.”

Jost said about 70,000 people applied and only 90 were accepted for the first season of “Pop Culture Jeopardy!” He also argued, as a self-proclaimed “regular Jeopardy!” watcher,” that the pop culture focus is not as easy as it may seem.

“I thought ‘Pop Culture Jeopardy!’ was harder than regular ‘Jeopardy!,” he told TODAY before the first season premiered in 2024.

“Pop Culture Jeopardy!” will stream every weekday night from May 11 until June 5. This season will end with a five-day tournament, featuring the top nine teams, during the final week of shows.
