Dear Carolyn: I’m long-divorced with an adult son, and I haven’t dated a lot since my divorce. Several months ago, I met a man and fell deeply in love. We were exclusive until he cheated on me with an ex-girlfriend. Since then, we’ve been struggling to figure out what our relationship is. He no longer wants to be exclusive, and he’s still seeing the former girlfriend. I’ve told him I’m not willing to see him as long as he’s seeing her.
