With the United States in its second year of a measles outbreak, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle pummeled Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with questions about the spread and the vaccine that can stop it. Some voiced their concerns about Kennedy’s vaccine stances as millions from around the world are expected to travel to the U.S. this summer for the World Cup. Kennedy also endorsed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s decision to no longer require the flu vaccine for U.S. troops. NBC’s Anne Thompson reports for TODAY.
