There’s never been a more appropriate moment to bring up the “Friendship Ended With Mudasir” meme than when discussing the friendship breakup between Brianna LaPaglia and Grace O’Malley. Over a year after their podcast ended, LaPaglia blames Call Her Daddy’s founding father for the nail in the coffin for their friendship with O’Malley. She criticized Cooper for posting “old DMs” between them to prove that Cooper was nice to her. “Posting old DMs from 2022-2023 when I didn’t know any of these things about you. When you didn’t try to poach a vulnerable person, my ex-best friend, and capitalize off of a very real situation between the two of us,” she explained. “How easily swayed she is in times of emotion, how she was easily swayed by the internet. That’s why our whole friendship fell apart, how you took advantage of that, how you profited off of it.” She then accused Cooper of making their friendship breakup into a “girls supporting girls” situation when she felt like Cooper took advantage of another woman. O’Malley still works with Cooper as a correspondent on the Unwell Winter Games and as a host for the Disgraceful podcast.
Amid her feud with Alix Earle, Cooper criticized LaPaglia for saying that she thinks Cooper is a “mean girl.” “This girl on girl shit needs to stop. While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry, who is adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile. Brianna, you coming online saying I’m a mean girl, that I’m going to get destroyed, in people’s comments saying I hate Alex Cooper,” Cooper wrote on Instagram Stories last week. “Here are the facts. I have never met you in my life. The only communication we have ever had together is through dm.” Cooper did not mention LaPaglia’s friendship with O’Malley during her call out. Maybe current employees are exempt from the drama.
