“Finger licking out in the wild is just generally pretty gross. So are a lot of people’s phones, too, probably, along with computer keyboards and mice. How often do people clean all those compared to how often they scratch themselves, pick their nose, etc?”
“I had a teacher growing up who would lick her finger between every page she flipped in a book or when going through assignments. And mind you, she was a very fast reader. If she handed you your assignment back after reading the page where she flipped, it just got wetter and wetter until the last one, where it was basically see-through because there was so much spit on her fingers from licking.
It was wild behavior.”
