You’ll love Ryobi’s new customizable DIY workbench

Finding the right setup for your garage or DIY shop is easier said than done. A big part of that process is a workbench, which is where you’ll complete all your projects. While Ryobi is most known for its wide array of 18V ONE+ tools, the company also makes excellent accessories, including this Ryobi Framework Workbench.

Ryobi offers several products that you can’t get from the competition, including the newly announced FRAMEWORKS (STM420K) Customizable DIY workbench. While we’ve seen this type of product before, Ryobi says it’s an “all-in-one kit” that provides everything you need to build a fully customizable workbench that fits any space. Here’s what you need to know.

One workbench for all your needs

Lumber not included

Announced earlier this week, Ryobi’s new customizable DIY workbench will be $100 when it arrives in June or July 2026. So while you can’t get one yet, it’ll be available in a few months. This all-in-one kit makes it easy to build the ultimate workbench for your shop or garage. Keep in mind that the lumber is not included, so the price will be a little higher all said and done. How big you go is up to you.

The FRAMEWORK workbench kit comes with four durable legs that can support up to 1,000 lbs, four adjustable shelf brackets, a LINK accessory rail and organizer bin, and all the hardware and bits included.

Ryobi specifically mentions that the legs allow for any bench build with a 35″ work height. All you do is buy the lumber, grab some plywood, and choose your top working surface, then easily assemble it to your heart’s desire.

Each leg has mounting points for 3/8″ or M10 casters or leveling feet, along with self-aligning pre-drilled screw guides to ensure everything is fast, easy, durable, and perfect. All you’ll have to do is make some straight cuts to the wood of your choice based on the size, length, and number of shelves you need, bust out your trusty drill/driver, and you’ll finish in no time.

The FRAMEWORK bench is essentially the skeleton for whatever workbench or workstation you want to build. It’ll come with easy instructions for different tiers or layouts, and the legs offer 12 positions for the middle shelves, making it highly customizable.

Looking through the product listing, you can choose from a standard 2×4-foot workbench, extend it to 8 feet, or even have a 4×8-foot station. The choice is yours.

Ryobi might not offer some of the impressive yet expensive toolbox options that Milwaukee and its competition do, but the company knows how to appeal to homeowners and casual DIYers, and this new workbench is a perfect example. Additionally, we can clearly see a new Framework logo and a slogan that says, “measure. cut. build.” suggesting this will be a full line of products.

For now, the Ryobi Framework customizable DIY workbench is listed as coming soon, but expect to find it at your nearby Home Depot sometime in June for around $100.
