Another season of “The Voice” is over and that means we have a new winner.
The Season 29 finale of “The Voice: Battle of Champions“ aired on April 14 with four singers and their coaches competing to be named the Voice.
Season 29 included a new format with only three coaches — Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Adam Levine — new challenges, voting rules and alumni returning.
For the first time ever, a new voting block of super fans and past artists had a chance to vote in real-time to determine which finalist would be crowned the winner.

Who Were the Top 4 Artists Heading Into ‘The Voice’ Season 29 Finalists?
Heading into the Season 29 “The Voice” finale, each coach had a finalist. Team Kelly had double the opportunity to win with two artists competing.
- Team Adam finalist: Alexia Jayy
- Team Legend finalist: Lucas West
- Team Kelly finalists: Liv Ciara and Mikenley Brown
What Happened During ‘The Voice’ Season 29 Finale?
Each finalist got the chance to perform two songs during the finale. They also sang a duet with their coaches. See what each singer performed below:
- Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy kicked off the final episode by singing “Lady Marmalade” and closed with “One and Only.” She and Levine also sang “Sunday Morning” together.
- Team Kelly’s Mikenley Brown sang “Almost Is Never Enough” and “Man I Need.” Clarkson and Brown then performed “What Was I Made For.”
- Team Legend’s Lucas West followed with “Cold As Ice” and his coach’s tune “Ordinary People.” For their duet, they sang “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”
- Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara closed the first round with “The Greatest” and sang “What A Girl Wants” as her second song. She also sang “Stay” with Clarkson.
Who Was ‘The Voice’ Season 29 Winner?
The winner for Season 29 of “The Voice” was Alexia Jayy. This was a win for Team Adam.

In second place was Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara. Lucas West came in third, while Mikenley Brown came in fourth.
Aside from her big win, the 31-year-old from Irvington, Alabama, will be releasing her new single, “Rent Free,” on April 15.
Who Are the Coaches for ‘The Voice’ Season 30?
Season 30 of “The Voice” and the coaches involved have yet to be officially confirmed.
However, auditions for the next season have been confirmed by the show’s Instagram.
