It’s not that Madonna is a material girl, it’s that those clothes have personal value. The pop icon revealed on her Instagram that some of her clothing went missing after her performance at Coachella with her mini-me, Sabrina Carpenter. “Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill!” Madonna wrote on her Instagram Story. “This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing — my costume that was pulled from my personal archives — jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history.” The outfit Madonna wore onstage was the same one she wore at Coachella 20 years ago as a headliner. Now, it’s gone.

Madonna posted an Instagram Story with photos showing off the currently missing items. Onstage, she wore bright-pink-and-red lingerie with matching stockings. Offstage, she wore a lilac dress paired with a blue jacket. Cops told TMZ the items “were last seen on a golf cart at the Empire Polo Grounds on Saturday, April 18” and said they thought the items “may have fallen off a golf cart operated by staff who were on their way to load the bags onto a bus.” The police added that there is “no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen.”

“Other archival items from the same era went missing as well,” Madonna added on Instagram. “I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team at: Infomaverick2026@gmail.com. I’m offering a reward for their safe return.” Please, somebody get Madonna’s outfits back to her so the Confessions II era can continue on apace!
