Nature is healing: Stassi Schroeder is once again being mean to Scheana Shay on TV. The Vanderpump Villa/Secret Lives of Mormon Wives crossover episode may have had Dakota Mortensen’s storyline edited out, but we got a Vanderpump Rules crossover in its place. A main focus of the episode was Jessi Draper’s ex, Jordan Ngatikaura, coming face-to-face with her emotional affair partner Marcio Brunette. Or was it also a physical affair? The jury (Stassi) is still out. While trying to figure out the truth of the Marciano/Jessi/Demi entanglement, Schroeder found out Shay was making moves behind the scenes. She confronted Brunette about his changin story. “The last that we spoke at the reunion and then at the reunion viewing party, you said you had sex with Jessi,’ she said. “Where do you stand on that now?” Brunette replied that he felt “influenced” to exaggerate the extent of the affair by SLOMW’s Demi Engemann and by Shay. “It was fuckking Demi and Scheana,” he said. “That’s how it started. Demi and I weren’t talking, and Scheana three-way called us.”
“Scheana’s the cause of so many fucking problems,” Schroeder said of her former compatriot in SURving. “It always comes back to Scheana.” Vanderpump Rules was basically built on Schroeder’s distaste for Shay (and on the male cast’s constant infidelity). For VPR-heads, it was tremendous to see Schroeder get back to her roots — shading Shay in confessionals. “How the fuck did Scheana get in this?” she said to camera. “You get off a show like Vanderpump Rules, and you think you’re able to just go and forge your own path and start over, and you don’t have to see your old co-workers if you don’t want to. Then sure enough, it all comes back to Scheana. Always.”
“She’s gonna love this,” Schroeder said. “Hi, Scheana!”
But that wasn’t the only Scheshu slander on Vanderpump Villa season 3. Schroeder and Lisa Vanderpump discussed Shay’s memoir over dinner. Specifically, the things Shay said about LVP’s alleged pattern of manipulation and “gaslighting” in order to build her reality TV empire. When Vanderpump asked Schroeder who she wanted to slag off, Stassi said “Scheana” without hesitation. “Lisa, you’ve always loved Scheana,” Schroeder said. “It makes the betrayal so much worse.”
