Previous honorees include Whoopi Goldberg, Cardi B, Don Lemon, Sharon Stone, Niecy Nash, Chlöe Bailey, Law Roach, Floyd Mayweather, Kelis and Lizzo, among others.

Perry will be presented with the Innovator Award, which is awarded to an individual who “transformed a specific genre of the entertainment industry” and salutes their “longevity and consistency in their field.”

Tiffany Haddish returns to host the ceremony, which will take place on Friday, June 5, at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. Grammy winner Babyface returns as musical director for the star-studded event.

This year, the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards will benefit the Hollywood Cares Foundation, with proceeds from the event going directly toward supporting the foundation’s initiatives. The nonprofit organization was launched in 2022 by Hollywood Unlocked founder and CEO Jason Lee to uplift underserved youth in Black and Brown communities through programming centered around youth leadership, civic engagement, and personal development.
