The title Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is pretty vague, and the new trailer doesn’t clear much up. Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones and the Six) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus season 2) are a bride and groom heading up to the groom’s familial cabin to have an intimate woodsy wedding. But all is not well leading up to the big day. How? Unclear. There’s an unsettling old man, and Morrone says she’s had a sense of impending doom. The wedding toast by DiMarco’s folks (Jennifer Jason Leigh and Ted Levine) is a little off. But the nature of the spooky-ooky coming for Morrone and DiMarco is left unshown.
Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is the latest from Brand New Cherry Flavor writer Haley Z. Boston. The Duffer Brothers are serving as EPs, as is Baby Reindeer director Weronika Tofilska. With the Duffer Brothers attached as producers and the director of Baby Reindeer behind the camera, it’s like Netflix made their own Traveling Wilburys. Ross Duffer is Roy Orbison. Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen premieres March 26, 2026.
