The Mets have released a new ballpark snack this season, and fans still don’t know how to feel about it.
In a post that has since went viral, the MLB asked attendees a simple question: “Has a new elite ballpark snack emerged?” Attached is a photo of a miniature pickle bucket.

Some were disgusted, while others were filled with joy.

What is the new ballpark snack?
The photo, posted by the MLB, shows a tiny Horman’s pickle bucket filled with original kosher dill slices.
Although the snack is not yet listed on Citi Field’s website, MLB’s X post said that it can be purchased in the stadium for $5.
How did fans react to the new food?
Hotdogs, pretzels and ice cream may be common at the ballgame.
But pickles took many by surprise in the comments.
“This is going to be a top seller,” one wrote.

“Ya don’t see that everyday at the ballpark,” another said.
The now viral post has been viewed on X 1.5 million times, with over 200 comments.
“I NEED THIS SO BAD,” one user commented.
“Elite and pickle chips should never be in the same sentence,” another poster wrote.
