Nicole Kidman and her 17-year-old daughter Sunday Rose just showed everyone how it’s done at the 2026 Met Gala.
On May 4—otherwise known as the First Monday in May—the evening’s co-chair brought her daughter to work the red carpet alongside her, with the 17-year-old model ascending the Met steps in a stunning 3-D floral Dior gown with a sheer pink underlay and matching floral statement earrings. Nicole, meanwhile, wore sparkling red Chanel gown featuring a mermaid silhouette with a feathered drop waist and cuffs.
Despite how it may sound, this was truly a coordinated effort that cosigns a striking summer 2026 trend. While blush pink and tomato red are both having a moment this spring, the romantic combination is also taking over runways and street style. Although Nicole and Sunday Rose’s dresses did not feature red and pink together, the photos prove just how well the shades go together despite longstanding fashion myths keeping them apart.
To make things even more cohesive, both women wore soft, minimalist makeup looks while styling their waist-length hair pin straight with a chic middle part, though Nicole rocked curtain bangs and face-framing layers.
