Dear Carolyn: When my 38-year-old daughter was growing up, I happily took her with me skiing, hiking, running, biking, swimming and working out. We shared many fantastic vacations, adventures and learning moments. Now, I am 73, and I still love to be active, especially with my daughter. However, I can no longer keep up with her.
