Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes Are All Smiles Posing Arm-in-Arm on Red Carpet

Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes are stepping out together again.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars walked the red carpet arm-in-arm at the New York premiere of “Brunello: The Gracious Visionary,” a documentary about Italian fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli, at Lincoln Center’s David Koch Theatre on April 14.

Holmes, 47, paired a white blouse that dipped at the shoulder with a metallic gray floor-length skirt. Jackson, also 47, wore a burgundy blazer with gray pants, topping off his look with a bowtie.

Jackson and Holmes, who briefly dated in the 1990s, have remained close friends since “Dawson’s Creek” ended its six-season run on The WB in 2003.

The pair reunited in 2025 to film Holmes’ latest directorial effort, the upcoming “Happy Hours,” the first installment in a film trilogy Holmes is also co-starring in and writing.

During a March 10 visit to TODAY, Jackson said he welcomed the chance to act again with Holmes, whom he called a lifelong friend.

“Katie wrote this beautiful story for the two of us that is the three phases of a love story,” he explained. “So we shot the fun part, which is the falling in love, and she’s cutting it together now. And that will come out and hopefully it will give us the opportunity to go back and make the other two.”

“More than anything, for me, selfishly, it was just an opportunity to work with Kate again,” said Jackson.

“We spent so much intense time at a particular moment in our lives and then we have maintained our friendship for all of these years, but we’ve never had the chance to be on camera together (again) and it was magic,” he added.

Jackson and Holmes also reunited with other former “Dawson’s Creek” cast members, including Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps, at a September 2025 event in honor of their co-star James Van Der Beek after he announced he had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Van Der Beek died at age 48 in February 2026.

During his March appearance on TODAY, Jackson said he and Van Der Beek shared a “very amazing time” together.

“He became what we used to just call a good man,” Jackson added of his late co-star. “A man of the kind of belief, the kind of faith that allowed him to face the impossible with grace, an unbelievable partner and husband, just a real man who showed up for his family and a beautiful, kind, curious, interested, dedicated father.”
