I’ve never wanted to see Drew Barrymore hold someone’s hand as much as Chris Fleming, let alone give them a sweet smooch. Thankful, Genie Barrymore granted my wish and invited Fleming on her talk show to chat about his new comedy special. The two played a game of Barrymore Bingo, featuring staple moments that happen in practically every interview, like hand-holding or getting curled up on the couch. “I’m wearing a weird leotard right now,” Barrymore states as she starts unbuttoning her shirt. “Me too!” Flemming replies, starting to unbutton as well. It felt almost too intimate to watch two people with so much palpable tension that the only logical solution was to hope for them to kiss. While the clip on YouTube did not show the moment, despite it being the thumbnail, maybe they’re just teasing us for when the full interview drops on YouTube later this week. Release the tapes!
