Attacking reinforcements
United are bracing for a busy summer transfer window, with Champions League qualification looking increasingly likely.

Bolstering the midfield is expected to be the club’s top priority but other positions could also come into play. United will need a much deeper squad due to the increased workload. Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are likely to leave permanently and must be replaced to ensure United have quality depth in forward areas.
The left-wing position in particular is a role United are looking to strengthen. A number of players are under consideration including Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig), Mateus Mane (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Iliman Ndiaye (Everton) and Gordon.
Gordon has become one of the Premier League’s top wingers, regularly coming up big for Newcastle with his finishing and lightning speed.
The England international has managed 17 goals and five assists across all competitions.

A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Gordon is keen to explore his options to leave Newcastle in the summer. While he hasn’t informed the Magpies of his desire to depart, there’s a belief that he is open to new opportunities as he continues to attract interest both from within England and abroad.
Bayern Munich have been mentioned as a club strongly interested in Gordon. United, Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on his situation. Now, journalist Alan Nixon has claimed that Gordon has his heart set on a switch to Real Madrid.

It’s understood that the 25-year-old has told close friends that his wish is to become a Madridista when he parts ways with Newcastle.
The Tyneside outfit will demand a big sum to sanction Gordon’s sale. Madrid’s stance on swooping for the United target is unknown at present.
United are next in action next Monday when they welcome Brentford to Old Trafford.
