4 must-have DeWALT tools arriving in April 2026

If you’re looking to buy new power tools for spring and summer, we have some good news. DeWALT is one of the most popular tool brands on the market, particularly among professionals, largely due to its constant introduction of exciting new products. And while they have a lot coming in 2026, several exciting tools worth buying will be available in April.

Late last year and during the first few months of 2026, DeWALT announced a slew of new tools and accessories were on the way, and several more were announced earlier this week. Now, one of the most popular brands for durability, power, ease of use, and more has a bunch of tools hitting shelves in the coming days or weeks.

Whether you’re a professional, a DIYer, or just an enthusiast, here are the latest and greatest from DeWALT that are worth waiting for.

DeWALT 20V MAX XR 18-Gauge Brad Nailer

A newer, faster, more compact Brad Nailer

First up is the latest and greatest DeWALT 20V MAX XR Brad Nailer (DCN210E1), set to replace a few older models. With the newer Brad Nailer hitting retail stores at the end of April or early May, consumers will find a tool that’s smaller, faster, and more powerful than ever.

According to DeWALT, it’s the most compact Brad Nailer they’ve ever offered and can drive up to 5 nails per second, even in extremely tight spaces. Furthermore, the company says the powerful brushless motor and 20V MAX XR platform help it deliver pneumatic-level productivity in a cordless package.

DeWALT’s new 18-gauge Brad Nailer kit comes in a sleek package with an included carry case and battery. Look for it at Home Depot and other retailers soon.

Many of us already own a cut-off tool or wheel of some sort, but how often have you found yourself wishing for something a little longer, compact, and easier to use? That’s what you’ll get from the all-new DeWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX 4 in. Extended Cut-Off Tool (DCG432XB).

Not only is this new tool extremely capable, but DeWALT says it’s the industry’s first battery-operated cordless 4-inch extended cut-off tool. It joins an existing lineup of a smaller 3-inch wheel, and while this one is bigger, it’s also longer and easier to use.

Thanks to its over 17-inch length, it’ll reach tight spaces and cut through materials with ease, regardless of the application. DeWALT says it has enough power to handle any job, and thanks to the lightweight cordless design, it’s 28% lighter than pneumatic alternatives. Find it available in April 2026 at any store that sells DeWALT products.

DeWALT announced its tiny yet mightily powerful 12-inch Compact 60V chainsaw in January, and it’s finally starting to hit shelves this week.

The FLEXVOLT 60V Cordless Chainsaw features a compact 12-inch design and a brushless motor, enabling fast, powerful cuts regardless of the material. Like any other chainsaws, it features chain break and kickback protection and comes with a 60V MAX battery, charger, bar/chain, all for $579 at your neighborhood Home Depot.

If it’s not in stock yet, check other retailers that carry DeWALT, or keep an eye out, because it’s slowly appearing at more Home Depot locations.

Die grinders are a bit of a specialty tool, but when you need one, having a capable and powerful unit is a game-changer. That’s why you’ll love the new DeWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX Extended Die Grinder (DCG420XB), hitting stores in mid-April.

For those unaware, DeWALT’s ATOMIC line is a subset of the XR range, only in a more compact package. And that’s precisely what makes this new extended grinder great. It’s up to 20% more powerful than pneumatic models, all while offering a 35% slimmer neck for ideal ergonomics. It’s smaller, lightweight, and extended, all while delivering the power you rely on.

Enjoy a variable-speed trigger, an upgraded paddle switch, and an on-board LED. Basically, this little grinder will be your go-to tool once you buy one. Just like everything else mentioned above, expect to find it at Home Depot in April 2026.
