Prepare to be sick of Zendaya — though she hopes you won’t be.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner has a stacked 2026 with releases for A24’s “The Drama” (April 3), “Euphoria” Season 3 (April 12), Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” (July 17), “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” (July 31) and “Dune: Part Three” (Dec. 18). When asked about her busy schedule in a recent interview with Fandango alongside “The Drama” co-stars Robert Pattinson, Alana Haim and Mamoudou Athie, Zendaya said she might have to “go into hiding for a little bit” after such a busy year.
“I guess, you know, I just hope people don’t get sick of me,” she said. “And I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies or supports my career in any kind of way. I’m deeply appreciative, and like I said, I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year.”
She added with a laugh: “Because I’ll tell you what, after this I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”
“The Drama” stars Zendaya and Pattinson as couple whose relationship is shaken when a shocking truth is discovered days before their wedding. During the press tour, Zendaya has been making headlines for her bridal method dressing — following the “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” tradition — amid rumors of her own recent nuptials to “Spider-Man” co-star Tom Holland.
At the Los Angeles premiere of “The Drama,” Zendaya wore “something old” — the Vivienne Westwood gown she rocked to the 2015 Oscars. Speaking to Variety on the red carpet, she said the 2015 Academy Awards were “such an important moment for myself, my community, for my loved ones, and it felt right. And it also happens to be a wedding dress, so that works.”
