The Pitt is about to make its theatrical debut. HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television have teamed with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for advance screenings of the Season 2 finale of the Emmy-winning series.
Screenings will take place on Monday, April 13 at 10 Alamo Drafthouse locations nationwide, three days before the episode airs on HBO Max on April 16.
The screenings are touted as a tribute to healthcare workers, “celebrating their steadfast dedication to their communities.”
To honor the dedication and impact of healthcare professionals across the country, THE PITT, along with HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television are partnering with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to host a nationwide series of free advance fan screenings for the Season 2 finale of the Emmy®-winning Max Original series. Healthcare professionals, active or retired, are encouraged to reserve their seat with the purchase of a $10 food and beverage voucher. In addition, all attendees will receive special The Pitt giveaways.
Screenings will be held in New York City, NY (Brooklyn); Boston, MA (Seaport); Raleigh, NC (Raleigh); Naples, FL (Naples); Dallas, TX (Cedars); Austin, TX (Mueller); Denver, CO (Westminster); San Francisco, CA (Mountain View); Twin Cities, MN (Woodbury) and Los Angeles, CA (DTLA).
Created by R. Scott Gemmill, The Pitt stars Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch and follows a group of healthcare workers at a hospital in Pittsburgh.
It also stars Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi.
The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Gemmill exec produces alongside Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan and Michael Hissrich.
The critically acclaimed series received an early third season renewal in January. It won five Emmy awards for Season 1, including outstanding drama series and lead actor for Wyle. It also was listed as one of the ten best television programs of 2025 by the American Film Institute and won for Best Television Series – Drama at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, among many other honors.
