It looks like Disney+ is cooking up a Defenders reunion with Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, currently filming in New York City.
On Friday, Luke Cage star Mike Colter and Iron Fist‘s Finn Jones were spotted on the set of the Marvel Television series outside a Brooklyn courthouse, reuniting with Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter.
Following Ritter’s addition to Season 2 last year, it sure looks like an onscreen reunion of The Defenders cast is in store for Season 3.
A continuation of the Netflix series Daredevil (2015-’18), new episodes of Season 2 of Born Again are available to stream Tuesdays at 9pm ET on Disney+.
The parent series was created by Drew Goddard as part of Netflix’s onscreen Marvel universe, which included Jessica Jones (2015-’19), Luke Cage (2016-’18) and Iron Fist (2017-’18), with the stars of each comic book series joining forces for 2017’s The Defenders.

Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapane recently explained why, although the interconnecting shows exist within the larger MCU, the characters rarely crossover with the movies.
“The joke we make is, ‘Oh, those guys are uptown – we’re downtown!’” explained Scardapane. “We kind of have a pocket that’s in this world of Hell’s Kitchen, in this world of New York. I always think that maybe these characters take little vacations into the larger world but the story that we’re focusing on is really granular.”
