It has been a bad week for baseball’s oldest players. First Verlander and Scherzer went down, and now Carlos Santana has joined them on the IL. Carlos has played approximately 30 seasons, and I’m pretty sure this is only his 2nd or 3rd time on the IL. Hopefully he’ll be back in less than two weeks.
Gabriel Arias is far younger, but also landed on the IL yesterday. The team broadcast sure seemed to imply that his hamstring will sideline him for more than two weeks.

There is some good news tho, as Aandrew Walters is on his way back.
