The Kelce family has added another girl to the mix … an adorable new puppy.
Kylie Kelce revealed in the latest episode of her “FAFO” series, an extension of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, that six weeks ago she worked with the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ Main Line Animal Rescue to find a four-legged friend for their household.
“Jason (Kelce) does know that I’m here today,” Kylie Kelce said at the start of the video. “We did discuss whether or not he would be peeved if I came home with an animal. And when I said rate on a scale of one to 10, he said, ‘10.’”
But, Kylie Kelce cheekily added, her husband didn’t clarify “which side of the scale was pissed.”
Throughout the episode, the mother of four met multiple friendly dogs and cats while also learning about PSPCA’s rescue efforts and how the organization cares for animals.
Toward the end of the episode, Kylie Kelce sat in a dog pen surrounded by eight-week-old German shepherd puppies. She mused over which one had a personality that would be the perfect fit for the Kelces.
She also already had a name picked out: Bernadette.
“Are you a Bernadette? Tell me the truth,” she said to one puppy. She then turned to the camera and said, “Look at her little dimple where her little whiskers are.”
She knew that the puppy in her arms was the one she wanted to adopt.
“I can’t help myself! Someone let me loose in a rescue and this is what happened,” Kylie Kelce said. “I met some very cute cats. But, like I’ve said a million times at this point, we’re not ready for that. When I am ready for that, I’m going to march my a– right back to the PSPCA and I’m going to find me a cat that wants to come home and live at the Kelce household.”
She continued, “But for now … may I introduce Bernadette Kelce!”
Kylie Kelce officially welcomed Bernadette to the family before predicting that her husband might have a different opinion on her name.
“Thanks again to the real ones for tuning in,” she signed off before including pictures of some of the animals featured in the episode that have already been adopted.
Fans also gave Bernadette a warm welcome in the comments.
“Bernadette just won the lottery for sure!” one said. “Not gonna lie… I seriously thought she was going home with two for a minute there. LOL. Congrats to the Kelce family on their newest arrival.”
Another wrote, “Oh Bernadette, wait until you find out what it’s like living with the Kelce’s. What a life!!!”
A third suggested, “We for sure need the follow up video showing Jason and the girls reacting to a new puppy!!!!”
