Everyone needs some “me” time, and what better way to relax than to light a candle to set the mood. Kerry Washington just bought the perfect one. At the premiere of Imperfect Women on Tuesday, Washington shared her love of Heated Rivalry on the red carpet and with her wallet. “I just bought one of those candles on Instagram — an ‘I’m coming to the cottage’ candle,” she told Variety. “I’m obsessed.” Her husband former NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha had a similar praise for the show, but thought of the perspective of an athlete who might feel inspired to come out after watching the show. “That is what art is meant to do,” he shared. “It’s meant to empower you so that’s great.”
Washington had nothing but love to give the show. “What’s not to love about the show,” Washington added. “It’s a show about belonging. It’s a show about acceptance. It’s a show about finding love, accepting love and having the courage to love. It’s also very spicy.” She’s been proudly declaring her love of the show for a while now, calling Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams “so hot!” She has taste!
