Harbor Freight’s tools are finally taking on Milwaukee—here’s what’s coming in 2026

You can never have too many tools, right? While all the big-name brands like Milwaukee, DeWALT, and Ryobi are busy releasing new tools for 2026, they’re not the only ones. Harbor Freight has capable new tools on the way from its in-house brands, including Hercules, Bauer, and more. If you’re on a budget, here are some great tools coming in 2026 that you might want to wait for.

Over the last few months, Harbor Freight has announced several new power tools, accessories, and storage options for DIY enthusiasts. The pro-tier brand Hercules has new 20V Impact Drivers on the way, a new long-throw orbital polisher, and much more. Here’s everything to keep an eye out for.

Hercules is Harbor Freight’s high-end line of professional-grade power tools, and they’re actually pretty great. More importantly, the lineup is slowly but surely expanding into more areas. A prime example is the newly announced Hercules 20V 1/4-inch Inch Angled Impact Driver.

I own a Milwaukee version of this tool, and it’s one of my favorites. Having all the power and torque of an Impact Driver, only at a 90-degree angle, makes this the ideal tool for working in cabinets or in tight spaces like engine bays or under the sink. It was a popular model missing from the Hercules lineup, and it’ll be arriving sometime here in 2026.

Most of the new Hercules 20V tools are brushless, ensuring you get a capable tool without spending too much money. Harbor Freight revealed this angled impact delivers up to 1000 in-lbs. of maximum torque with 3000 RPM, supports three different speed modes, and there’s a built-in LED ring for lighting.

The Hercules 20V 1.4-inch Angled Impact looks very similar to Milwaukee’s and Ryobi’s versions, and I can guarantee you it’ll be more affordable once it arrives.

A cordless circular saw is one of those tools that, once you have one, you’ll eventually end up using it a ton. And while most bands offer fairly affordable variants, the new Bauer 20V Cordless Saw is only $50.

Available now at Harbor Freight, the Bauer 20V Cordless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw is compact and lightweight, and with a left-side blade that offers improved cutline visibility. The company confirmed that it uses an all-metal gear construction for improved durability, a feature that more expensive models offer as well.

While cordless power tools are a popular choice for everyone, sometimes you don’t need to go cordless and are doing a job where you’d rather have consistent power without worrying about a battery or stopping to recharge. For example, using something like the all-new Hercules 4.5 Amp Long-Throw Orbital Polisher at Harbor Freight.

This wired Random Orbit Dual-Action Polisher features a 12mm head in a compact package, making it great for working around curves and contours. I need this for paint correction on my truck, and I’m probably not the only one.

Hercules said it employs a slow-start system for ease of use, and you’ll enjoy the 6-speed variable dial, which should help you find the right speed for whatever surface you’re working on.

Another new tool to grace the Hercules Brushless lineup is this new compact 4-1/2 inch circular saw, which can also double as a cut-off tool if you’d like.

Hercules says it’s 20% lighter than previous models, all while delivering over 250 cuts per charge thanks to the more efficient brushless motor. Some features include a spindle lock for easy blade replacements, a stamped-steel shoe with sightline indicators for 90° and 45° bevel cuts, and an onboard dust port to keep things clean.

Most people end up buying a bigger 6-1/2 inch circular saw, but if you’re doing smaller projects around the house, this affordable and compact alternative might be all you need. It’s now available online and in stores.

Bauer 20V Brushless Cordless 1/4 inch Hex Impact Driver Kit

A truly affordable Impact tool

I think everyone should own a few good impact tools, like a wrench or driver. And while these can quickly get expensive, like the Milwaukee SURGE Impact Driver for $200, Harbor Freight has a solid alternative for those on a budget.

The newly announced, just-released Bauer 20V Brushless 1/4-inch HEX Impact Driver kit is only $70 and includes the tool, a battery, and a charger. That’s one of the most affordable kits for this type of tool I’ve ever seen.

This Impact Driver offers a lightweight, compact design, three speeds for all your driving and fastening needs, three built-in LED lights, and a quick-release 1/4-inch hex chuck for fast bit changes. It looks pretty excellent for the price.

Harbor Freight has a ton of new tools and power tools coming out in 2026, or just hitting store shelves. Whether you’re looking for affordable cordless power tools or powerful corded options, head to your nearby store and see what’s new.

An honorable mention goes to an upgraded 5-Tier U.S. General Steel garage shelving unit, along with countless accessories and flashlights for all your homeowner needs.
