This week, for the first time in 50 years, Nasa is sending people to the moon once more.

And though none of the four astronauts of Artemis II will land on the lunar surface, the mission – which will involve flying around the moon – will take humans deeper into space than we have ever been before.

The astronaut Tim Peake describes what it will be like for the four of them, from launch to space entry to seeing the Earth from up there for the first time. He explains too why Artemis II is such a landmark in space exploration.

Reporter Richard Luscombe tells Nosheen Iqbal all about the atmosphere in Cape Canaveral, from where the rocket will be launched, and what the 10-day mission will entail.
