The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday to win their second series of SEC play two games to one.

Alabama entered the series with a head-turning record of 24-0, as the Tide have been widely regarded as one of the top teams in all of college softball to begin the 2026 campaign. Star senior Alexis Pupillo continues to shine at the plate, as the talented utility player recorded an extremely clutch three RBI during Alabama’s 4-1 victory over the Razorbacks on Friday.

Alexis Pupillo stays red hot, records 2 hits and 3 RBI on Friday

Pupillo has been widely regarded as a top player in all of college softball this season. The utility star was electrifying against the Razorbacks on Friday, as Pupillo recorded two hits and three RBI during Alabama’s 4-1 victory over the Hogs.

Pupillo currently holds a .461 average on the year, as the senior continues to play a vital role for the Tide on a nightly basis.

Jocelyn Briski thrives in the circle, improves to 10-0

Briski has been nothing short of elite in the circle for Alabama this season. The star flamethrower pitched two complete games in the series against Arkansas, including a 14-strikeout performance on Friday.

The star pitcher has been excellent all year, as Briski was at her best against one of the best lineups in all of college softball this weekend.

Ambrey Taylor continues to shine off the bench

Taylor has been excellent off the bench for the Crimson Tide this season. The talented player hit her second pinch hit home run of the season against Arkansas on Sunday, as Taylor has had a very solid start to the 2026 campaign despite seeing a limited amount of playing time.

Taylor currently holds a .450 average on the year in 20 at-bats, as the freshman continues to flash her potential throughout SEC play.

Alabama will face ULM on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to improve to an overall record of 27-1 on the season.
